As a community, not only am I learning something from The Other Wes Moore, but also all of the other students at San Jacinto College are learning different aspects from The Other Wes Moore too; we can all come together and work as a community and discuss the different aspects in each of Wes' lives that we would like to improve in our own life.

The connection San Jacinto, Wes more, and I have as a community is that there are different type of people in the community, there’s good and bad but we all have a choice whether to do well or bad for our community. Tanya Rodriguez Gust0305
As a community, the students in San Jacinto are learning about being able to make smart decisions in their life and also to help other people that might effect your life in the future.
San Jacinto college is my educational community, Laurel is Wes’s community, he learns from his community as well as I learn from mine. My learnings help encourage the correct decisions for my future.
Just as in the military school and the Jobs Corps that both Wes Moore’s attended, San Jacinto College gives us a place to better ourselves as students and as people, proof that people succeed at impressively higher rate when surrounded by positive influences and motivation.
I am one with the community, and San Jac because, do I not only want to help I want to work on everything as one. I’m learning a lot more skills and aspects of life from everyone else at San Jac. I am learning that every community is different but the same. Two different people coming from the same community how it could be so different. Some how helping each other in the end.
We as a community at San Jac have a common goal. That is to better our lives. We are all in it together. It is our positive feedback. Reading "The Other Wes Moore has opened my eyes, and made me think about my life and ways to change it.
As a community along with San Jacinto, reading "The Other Wes Moore" has made me realize that sometimes the hardest decisions in life end up being the best one. Decisions are ideas reached on our own if wanted, only we can decide how we want our lifes to turn out to be. Jazmin Fernandez GUST0350

We as a Community attend San Jacinto to better our everyday life to get us closer towards our goal, and by reading "The Other Wes Moore" helped others and me make better choices.
San Jac as a community makes sure that everyone gets the help that they need to achieve their goal. Even though the other Wes chose some bad decisions throughout his life he still got the help and support he needed from Wes Moore.
